Although the Ents Booking program has
been tested on Win95, Win98, Win ME, NT,
XP and Win7 problems can occur during
install or other programs installed may affect
the installation. Before installing make
sure all other programs are shut down,
including those that run in the background
such as anti-virus software

How do I restore my backed up data after
a PC problem
|

- First download and
install Ents Booking on the new PC.
- Open up the install folder found at C:\My
Documents\DJ Booking 2011
- Delete the following 2 folders, ‘Data’ and ‘Templates’
- Find, un-zip and open the folder of your
latest backup
- Copy the ‘Data’, ‘Templates’ and ‘word
docs’* folders from your un-zipped
backup into C:\My Documents\Ents Booking
2011
- Open and run Ents Booking as normal
*NOTE the ‘word docs’ folder
you only be present if you have used the
word templates.

Can I migrate my data to a new PC
|

Yes, Migrating your data to a new PC is
very easy.
- First download and
install Ents Booking on the new PC.
- Open up the install folder found at
C:\My Documents\Ents Booking 2011
- Delete the following 2 folders, ‘Data’ and ‘Templates’
- Go to you old PC and open up the install
folder and make a copy of the ‘Data’, ‘Templates’ and ‘word
docs’* folders, we find it’s
best to use USB pen Drive to copy these
onto.
- Now go back to you new PC and copy
the ‘Data’, ‘Templates’ and ‘word
docs’* folders from the USB pen
Drive to the install folder on the new
PC
- Open and run Ents Booking as normal
*NOTE the ‘word docs’ folder
will only be present if you have used the
word templates.

How do I update my version of Ents booking

Should there be any new updates please
download the latest EXE from
HERE and
save it some where safe (like My Documents)
- Right click on the downloaded file
and extract (unzip) it
- Copy the EntsBooking.exe file into
the main install folder (C:\My Documents\Ents
Booking 2011 )and say yes to
overwriting the existing one

page, you need to use the trial
code to get it to work

Yes, you can alter the Word based contacts
to suit you, see help file for further details

No not directly, but you can use a PDF
writer that works just like a printer
(like PDF Creator from www.pdfforge.org)
and creates the PDFs that can be
attached to emails

I have installed it, run it and it keeps
telling me to run the set-up.

The program MUST have the set-up run and
ALL the required fields filled in before it
will work, this includes the trial version.
Please read the help file, there is a section
on ‘Setting up the Ents Booking
Program’ that gives you a step
by step guide.

As I install it I get an error message and
it will not install, why? |

When you downloaded from the Internet
it’s
in the form of a ZIP file. This is a compressed
file that needs to be extracted (Un-Zipped)
before you install it. Newer versions of
ZIP programs allow you to access the contents
of
the directory without unzipping it, you cannot
install a program while the file is still
zipped. To extracted (Un-Zipped) right click
on the
file and extract it. Depending on what form
of zip program you are running you should
see an option to unzip or extract.

I have tried to install it and
when I run it nothing happens, why? |

As will installing any software you need
to make sure that nothing is already running.
Close all programs before installing

Can I install it on more then 1 system
and run it over a network? |
| A |
Yes you can set it up over a network and
install is on as many machines as you
like, there is NO charge for installing
it on other systems.
To configure ENTS Booking to run over a
network you need to alter the DBP.ini file
in the install directory. change the DIR=
add you FULL network path.
eg DIR=\\myPCname\C:\My
Documents\DJ Booking 2011\Data
The path where you set the data directory
to is the “master” data, this
PC must be switched on in order for other
PC to access the data

this feature is available we do NOT support
it, you must have a full
understanding of how to set up your own network
